Customization options include selecting your preferred size and absorbency. Begin by choosing the size, then the absorbency, and finally the leg finish. If ordering multiple items, add one diaper at a time to ensure all details are properly recorded. All made to order items are final sale unless manufacturing defect.

ABSORBENCY OPTIONS

Hybrid Shell - hidden layer of 100% double brushed polyester fleece that acts as a mild liquid barrier.

Fitted Shell - hidden layer of heavy organic bamboo fleece 30% organic cotton 70% bamboo viscose. The material acts as an additional absorbent layer.

Stretch Fit Shell - hidden layer of stretch organic cotton terry spandex 95% organic cotton 5% elastane for a super stretchy, flexible fit.

Cotton Bamboo Inserts - absorbent layers of heavy cotton bamboo 30% organic cotton 70% bamboo viscose topped with organic cotton velour 95% organic cotton 5% elastane.

All Cotton Inserts - absorbent layers are made of stretch organic cotton terry spandex 95% organic cotton 5% elastane, topped with organic cotton velour 95% organic cotton 5% elastane.

EDGE FINISH OPTIONS

Comfort Serged - the edge finish has a turned pillowy casing at the legs and serged wings and tummy for a trim, stretchy fit.

Lux turned - this edge finish has a turned pillowy edge throughout for the most delicate skin.

Newborn fits approximately 7-14lbs

Petite fits approximately 7-27lbs. This diaper size works great for newborns with newborn inserts which can be purchased seperately here. This size was also designed for slender babies/toddlers.

One size fits approximately 8-35lbs. Made for regular sized infants and toddlers.

Toddler fits approximately 20-60lbs. Made for taller babies and young children.

Newborn diapers are made with an umbilical cord snap down giving your newborn baby maximum comfort. Each diaper comes with 4 pieces: 1 triple layer diaper shell, 3 triple layer freestanding inserts so that you can increase absorbency as your newborn grows.

Petite diapers come with 3 pieces. A triple layer diaper shel with fold over rise to grow with your baby. 1 - 8 layer snap insert(soaker) and 1 triple layer booster.

Toddler and one size diapers come with 3 pieces. A triple layer diaper shell with fold over rise to grow with your baby. 1 - 8 layer snap in insert(soaker) and 1 triple layer super booster.

Do you need a cover? Our fitted diapers can be worn without a cover for a period of time but will eventually become damp. To be completely waterproof we recommend a wool or PUL diaper cover.

Fitted cloth diapers don't have a plastic layer which makes them incredibly breathable, great for healthy skin.

Well made means longevity. Use our cloth diapers on multiple children or sell them when you are done in our Pre-Loved market.

Spray off any poop in to the toilet. *A diaper sprayer is very handy tool to help rinse your diapers thoroughly, you can find diaper sprayers here.  Once rinsed squeeze out excess water.

You can collect dirty rinsed diapers in an open pail or hanging wet bag. We recommend leaving diaper pails open to allow for air flow.

On wash day pre rinse your diapers with a small amount of detergent on warm. If you don't have a rinse cycle use the quick wash setting warm.

After pre rinse it's time to wash.  Add detergent, you do not need any more detergent to clean cloth diapers than you would use to clean your clothes. Any mainstream detergent that has no fabric softeners will do.  Select the heaviest wash or soil level with one extra rinse. The temp should be warm/hot water settings (this will provide a good clean with appropriate amount of agitation). You do not need the sanitize function, these extreme hot washes are hard on elastics and materials. 

Once your diapers are washed you can hang them to dry or dry on low in the dryer.  

Natural Fabric Softeners

You can use natural plant based fabric softeners such as Unicorn Baby Beyond Soft to keep your diapers super soft and fluffy.  Use 1oz or Beyond Soft for a load of 12-16 diapers.  Some other brands I recommend are Mrs. Meyer's and Seventh Generation-use these in moderation.  

We do not recommend bleach, Borax or Oxi Clean. These are harsh detergent additives and can breakdown elastics, fade prints and weaken materials.

Stains

You can pause the washing machine once diapers have been in the soapy wash cycle and are thoroughly mixed.  Leave for a few hours for really deep stains. 

You can pretreat stains with Buncha Farmers natural stain stick. You can apply the stick to any stain directly or make this simple recipe to make your own Buncha spray solution for your diapers.

1 tbsp of Buncha farmer shavings (use cheese grater) per I cup of boiling water. Allow to cool, stir and add to spray bottle!  Keep this in your bathroom next to your diaper sprayer-spray directly on the stain then put in wash pail unit you are ready to wash.

You can also sun!!  OBV suns beautifully - hang damp, clean diapers out side and sun for a few hours.  Do not leave diapers out in the sun all day - the sun is wonderful but can be harsh and fade prints and colour. The CV or OBV side should be facing sun, not the print side.
