Complete Cloth Diaper Bundle
Pickup available at Lilly & Frank
Usually ready in 24 hours
One complete stash, from tiny baby to toddler.
This is our most comprehensive cloth diaper package, designed for families who want to start cloth diapering with a full stash rather than piecing everything together separately.
It includes 42 absorbent inserts, 10 adjustable AI2 diaper covers, overnight protection, storage for home and on the go, wipes and reusable stay-dry liners.
The two-stage absorbency system grows with your baby. Start with the smaller Stage 1 inserts during the newborn and early infant months, then transition to the larger Stage 2 inserts as your baby grows. Stage 1 inserts can later be used as boosters when extra absorbency is needed.

What's Included — A Closer Look
Everything in this bundle has been thoughtfully selected to make cloth diapering simple, practical, and flexible as your baby grows.
10 × Lilly & Frank AI2 Diaper Covers
Our All-In-Two (AI2) diaper covers are designed to make everyday cloth diapering easier. Each cover features a wipe-clean waterproof interior, five adjustable rise settings, gentle tummy elastic, wide back elastic, and secure double hip snaps for a comfortable fit from approximately 7–35 lbs.
Absorbent inserts snap directly into the cover, so there's no pocket stuffing required. When it's time for a change, simply unsnap the wet insert, wipe the cover clean if needed, and snap in a fresh insert. Covers can be reused between changes when clean.
21 × Stage 1 Inserts (Infant)
Our Stage 1 inserts are designed for newborns and smaller babies, approximately 7–15 lbs. Made from a soft 70% bamboo and 30% cotton blend, each snake-style insert folds to provide six layers of absorbency without unnecessary bulk.
These inserts fit neatly inside the AI2 cover at its smallest rise settings, making them ideal for the early months when babies need frequent changes.
As your baby grows, Stage 1 inserts can be paired with Stage 2 inserts as additional boosters for naps, heavier wetters, or whenever extra absorbency is needed.
21 × Stage 2 Inserts (Baby / Toddler)
Designed for growing babies approximately 15–35 lbs, Stage 2 inserts offer increased absorbency for bigger wetters.
Made from the same bamboo-cotton blend, their book-fold construction creates eight absorbent layers while remaining easy to wash and dry.
For babies who need extra protection, a Stage 1 insert can be added underneath, creating up to 14 layers of absorbency.
1 × Lilly & Frank One Size Fitted Cloth Diaper
Our handmade fitted diapers offer an additional absorbency option, especially for naps, overnight, and heavier wetters.
Lovingly sewn in Canada using soft, absorbent fabrics, fitted diapers provide absorbency throughout the diaper rather than relying on a separate insert.
Unlike the AI2 system, fitted diapers are not waterproof on their own and require a separate diaper cover when waterproof protection is needed.
1 × Double Gusset Diaper Cover (15-40lbs)
The perfect companion to your fitted diaper, our double gusset cover provides roomy waterproof protection with an additional inner leg gusset to help contain leaks.
It's particularly useful over fitted diapers for naps, nighttime, and heavier wetters.
This versatile cover also features snaps for compatibility with our Stage 1 and Stage 2 inserts, giving you another way to use your AI2 absorbency.
10 × Bamboo Terry Cloth Wipes
A simple reusable alternative to disposable baby wipes.
Soft and absorbent, cloth wipes can be used with plain water to clean your baby's skin during diaper changes. They're also useful for messy hands, faces, and everyday little cleanups.
Simply wet a wipe when needed, use it as you would a disposable wipe, and place it in your diaper pail with your used diapers. Everything can be washed together, making cloth wipes an easy addition to your routine.
1 × Pail Liner or Hanging Pail
Keep used diapers neatly contained between wash days with a reusable waterproof storage solution.
Depending on your selected bundle, you'll receive either a pail liner designed to fit inside a diaper bucket or a hanging pail that can be conveniently hung near your changing area.
Both options provide a practical place to store used diapers and wipes until laundry day. Empty the contents into your washing machine and wash the liner or bag as directed.
12 × Reusable Stay-Dry Fleece Liners
Fleece liners sit between your baby's skin and the absorbent diaper, helping moisture pass through to the layers underneath while providing a stay-dry feeling.
They're especially useful inside fitted diapers, which naturally hold moisture throughout the fabric.
Liners can also make solid waste easier to remove before washing. Simply shake or rinse solids into the toilet, then wash the liner with your cloth diapers.
1 × Medium Wet Bag
Cloth diapering doesn't have to stop when you leave the house!
Your medium wet bag provides a convenient place to store used diapers, wipes, or damp clothing while you're out.
Its water-resistant construction helps contain damp items and keep them separate from the rest of your diaper bag.
It's a practical everyday accessory for outings, daycare, and travel.
How Everything Works Together
Start with your AI2 covers and Stage 1 inserts during the newborn months. As your baby grows, transition to Stage 2 inserts and keep your Stage 1 inserts for additional absorbency.
Use your fitted diaper and double gusset cover when you want extra protection for naps or overnight.
Cloth wipes, liners, wet bags, and your home diaper storage complete the routine, helping you manage changes both at home and on the go.
One thoughtfully curated bundle, with flexible options for every stage of your cloth diapering journey.
How Does This Bundle Work?
How Does This Bundle Work?
This bundle is thoughtfully designed to grow with your baby, offering flexible absorbency options from the newborn stage through toddlerhood.
Starting with a Newborn (7–15 lbs)
Newborns typically need around 12 diaper changes per day. Your 21 Stage 1 inserts provide nearly two days of changes, making this a practical starting stash for families planning to wash frequently.
If you'd prefer more time between wash days, we recommend adding approximately 11 additional Stage 1 inserts, bringing your total to 32. This provides a little more breathing room for washing and drying.
Growing into Stage 2 (15–35 lbs)
As your baby grows, you'll transition to the larger, more absorbent Stage 2 inserts. Older babies typically need around 6–8 diaper changes per day.
But your Stage 1 inserts are far from finished!
You can snap two Stage 1 inserts into an AI2 cover to create another diaper change, giving you at least 10 additional changes alongside your 21 Stage 2 inserts.
That's 31+ diaper changes using the absorbency already included in your bundle, providing greater flexibility between wash days.
Naps, Overnight & Heavy Wetters
Every baby has different absorbency needs, and this bundle gives you several options to find what works best.
- Stage 2 + Stage 1: Layer together for additional absorbency during naps or overnight.
- Two Stage 2 Inserts: A higher-absorbency option for heavier wetters.
- Fitted Diaper + Double Gusset Cover: Provides absorbency throughout the fitted diaper with roomy waterproof coverage for maximum protection.
Some babies will do perfectly well overnight in a regular AI2 cover with additional inserts. Others may need the extra room and coverage of the double gusset cover.
The beauty of this bundle is having different options available without needing to purchase an entirely separate diapering system.
Reusing Your Diaper Covers
Our AI2 covers are designed to be reused between changes when clean. Simply unsnap the wet insert, wipe the cover if needed, and snap in a fresh one.
With 10 AI2 covers and an additional double gusset cover, you'll have plenty of flexibility for everyday changes, naps, and overnight.
One complete bundle, multiple absorbency options, and a system that adapts as your baby grows.
Washing & Care Instructions
Caring for your cloth diapers is simple once you establish a routine. With proper washing and care, your Lilly & Frank diapers can be used throughout your baby's diapering journey.
Before First Use
Wash all diapers, inserts, wipes, and liners before their first use. Natural fibres, including bamboo and cotton, become more absorbent with washing and may require several washes to reach their full absorbency.
After Each Diaper Change
- Remove solid waste into the toilet.
- Rinse away any remaining residue.
- Unsnap absorbent inserts from the AI2 covers.
- Place used diapers, inserts, wipes, and liners into your pail liner or hanging pail until wash day.
For exclusively breastfed babies, waste is generally water-soluble and can go directly into the wash.
Washing Your Cloth Diapers
- Prewash on cold to remove initial soiling.
- Main wash on warm (40°C / 100°F) using an additive-free detergent.
- Follow with an extra rinse to help remove any remaining detergent.
- Tumble dry on low or hang to dry. Air drying is especially recommended for waterproof covers and wet bags.
- Avoid bleach and fabric softeners, which can affect absorbency and waterproof materials.
Caring for Your Accessories
Cloth Wipes & Fleece Liners: Wash alongside your cloth diapers. Remove solids from liners before washing.
Wet Bags & Pail Liners: Empty before washing and follow the care instructions on each item. Hang to dry whenever possible to help preserve their waterproof lining.
Fitted Diapers: Wash with your absorbent inserts. Because fitted diapers contain multiple layers of absorbent fabric, they may take longer to dry.
How Often Should I Wash?
We recommend washing every 1–2 days during the newborn stage and approximately every 2–3 days as your baby grows, depending on how many clean inserts you have available.
Store used diapers in a ventilated pail or hanging bag between washes. Avoid soaking diapers or leaving them sitting in water.
A Note About Diaper Creams
Use cloth-diaper-safe creams whenever possible. Some creams can leave residue on absorbent fabrics, potentially affecting their performance.
A simple, consistent washing routine helps keep your diapers clean, absorbent, and ready for the next change.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I start using this bundle from birth?
Yes! Our AI2 diaper covers are designed to fit babies from approximately 7–35 lbs, with five adjustable rise settings to accommodate smaller newborns. The Stage 1 inserts are specifically designed for the newborn and early infant months.
Fit will vary depending on your baby's size and shape.
Will I need to purchase anything else?
This bundle includes everything you need to get started with full-time cloth diapering, including diapers, absorbent inserts, wipes, and storage accessories.
During the newborn stage, you may want to purchase additional Stage 1 inserts if you prefer more time between wash days. Otherwise, the bundle provides a flexible stash that grows with your baby.
How do I know when to switch to Stage 2 inserts?
Most babies transition to Stage 2 inserts around 15 lbs, but every baby is different.
If your Stage 1 inserts are becoming saturated quickly or your baby needs more absorbency between changes, it's probably time to introduce Stage 2.
You can continue using your Stage 1 inserts as boosters or pair two together for additional diaper changes.
Can I use these diapers overnight?
Absolutely! This bundle includes several absorbency options for nighttime use.
Some babies do well with a Stage 2 insert paired with a Stage 1 booster, while heavier wetters may benefit from two Stage 2 inserts layered together.
For maximum absorbency and coverage, you can use the included fitted diaper with the double gusset cover.
Overnight needs vary, so finding the right combination may take a little experimenting.
Do I need to change the diaper cover every time?
Not necessarily! One of the biggest advantages of our AI2 system is that the waterproof covers can be reused between changes.
Simply remove the wet insert, wipe the cover clean if needed, and snap in a fresh insert. If the cover becomes soiled or heavily saturated around the elastics, replace it with a clean one.
Can I use the double gusset cover with my AI2 inserts?
Yes! Our double gusset cover is designed with snaps to accommodate Lilly & Frank Stage 1 and Stage 2 inserts.
It can also be worn over fitted diapers, making it a versatile option for everyday use, naps, and overnight.
Are all the products made in Canada?
Lilly & Frank is proudly Canadian-owned, and all our products are thoughtfully designed with comfort, functionality, and longevity in mind.
Our handmade fitted diapers are sewn in Canada, while our AI2 covers, absorbent inserts, and double gusset covers are designed in Canada and manufactured in China.
Accessories may come from different manufacturers. Individual product listings provide additional details where available.
Can I choose the prints and colours in my bundle?
Each Complete Cloth Diaper Bundle is thoughtfully curated with coordinating prints and colours.
The exact selection of diapers and accessories may vary between colourways. Please refer to the individual bundle photographs for the products included in your selected option.
How long will this bundle last?
The AI2 covers are designed to fit approximately 7–35 lbs, allowing them to grow with your baby from the newborn stage into toddlerhood.
Your Stage 1 inserts can continue being used as boosters long after your baby transitions to Stage 2, helping you make the most of every piece in your bundle.
With proper care, many of these products can continue to be used throughout your cloth diapering journey.
